About Us
Swift Tree Services was originally founded by director Adam Lawson, back in 2008 – a tough period to start a business due to the global financial crisis! From small roots working with just a trailer and gravity-fed chipper, Adam grew the business, joining with co-director, Stephen Warner, in 2013, to become Swift Tree & Arboricultural Services Ltd - Company Number 08390250 Registered in England & Wales; VAT Registration Number 182 6357 89
The company currently employs two full-time arboriculture teams and operates from it’s own purpose-built industrial estate premises. We are elite-level members of the inaugural UK Tree Surgeons Mastermind, as well as the Arboricultural Association.
Swift Tree Services undertake hundreds of tree jobs per year, of all types and sizes – the diverse nature of the work is one of the reasons we enjoy our job so much! We place great emphasis on consistently striving to improve, with the team undertaking frequent training courses and we hold regular tool-box talks to discuss our progress. As a company, it is our policy to reflect on - and discuss - what learning opportunities there have been from the jobs we have completed.
How We Work
Client Enquiry
Contact us via phone, website, email, social media or WhatsApp. Our office manager, Tina, will take your details and arrange for a survey at a convenient time, to discuss the work you require.
Survey Appointment
Our surveyor will come to site and chat through the issues you’re facing. We can offer a choice of options for you to consider and will recommend what we consider to be the best course of action. However, they are your trees and we will listen to understand your priorities.
Written quotation
We’ll provide you with a quote via email, or post if you prefer. The quote comes complete with a copy of our terms and conditions of service.
Acceptance
Feel free to contact us to discuss any element of your quote, but we hope that you will be happy to proceed with the work as outlined. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can get the work into our planned schedule. For jobs requiring planning consent, we will undertake the planning application on your behalf, once we have received a written acceptance of the quote - email is fine!
Work Booking
We will contact you with a couple of week’s notice to offer a date to come and carry out your tree work.
Work Undertaken
We’ll arrive as planned and complete your work. We will always check where possible that everything has been completed to your satisfaction and ask you to sign off the work before the team leaves.
Invoice
This will be sent following the completion of the work – we don’t require payment on the day. Our terms of payment are 7 days for domestic clients and 30 days for commercial clients.

We always welcome client feedback and would love to hear from you following the completion of your work. We are very proud of our reputation for providing professional, high quality services, and of our long list of repeat customers.
