In the cases of severely overgrown hedges, we have the capability to undertake significant reductions to totally transform your hedge. Your surveyor will be able to advise on whether your species will cope with this approach, or if an alternative such as removal and replacement would achieve better, or more timely results.  Our high-capacity chipper allows the efficient processing of dense and tangled material, whilst our tracked excavator is equipped with a flail for the most efficient way to cut overgrown hedges back into shape. Bird nesting is a vital consideration for work of this nature, so working outside of March-September would be preferable. If this isn’t possible, we can arrange for an ecologist to survey the hedge and report on the presence of nests or bat roosts, which would prevent the work being undertaken.
