Here at Swift Tree Services, we are keenly aware of the value of trees. Trees bring a huge range of benefits to the local environment, to the wider ecosystem, and of course, to our planet as a whole! We do not take the removal of a tree lightly and will always recommend other courses of action where appropriate. However, when the removal of a tree, or trees cannot be avoided, we are able to assist with providing replacements, in a variety of ways:

• On-site replanting. We are happy to provide recommendations of appropriate species for the location, whether this be a direct replacement tree, or in a suitable position elsewhere on site. We have planted numerous specimen trees, and replacement hedges, sourced through local nurseries wherever possible, although we also have good working relationships with some excellent national suppliers. Trees are generally best planted during the winter months, so we can arrange a return visit where necessary.
• Community replanting. If there’s no space on site for replacement trees, why not consider contributing to a planting scheme in our local community? Swift Tree Services support a number of programmes for planting trees in schools and in public spaces and are always enthusiastic to hear from other agencies or charities with whom we can partner. Our surveyors will be pleased to talk you through the options we can offer, so you can have a replacement tree planted – even if you don’t have room for it!
