Covid-19 (Corona Virus) Update
Dear all our valued clients,
Further to our previous notification, we are pleased to be able to inform you that following clarification from the government to our industry body, the Arboricultural Association; we will be recommencing our services as of Friday 24th April. This decision has been subject to a careful and thorough risk assessment and we will be adhering strictly to social distancing rules at all times. The health and well-being of our staff and clients is our number one priority. We will be instigating measures such as travelling in separate vehicles, the regular use of hand-sanitiser and the disinfecting of tools and equipment at the end of each job. Should government advice change moving forward, then our position will remain under constant review.
It is important to note that, regrettably, this will not be business as usual for some time. We have a number of considerations to work round such as staff childcare requirements and the possibility of staff self-isolation if needed. There will also be new logistical challenges on site, as the social distancing rules will change the way we have to work and will inevitably slow us down a bit!
We will still need your help! We really appreciate your patience so far and have been deeply touched by the messages of support we have received in these difficult times. However, please continue to bear with us as we work through the backlog of jobs. We will do our best to get to everyone in a comparatively reasonable time, but will have to schedule jobs according to a number of different criteria, with the need for social distancing being the first consideration.
Whilst on site, we will be perfectly happy to discuss specific job requirements using our phones; through windows; or outside, but only where sufficient space allows for at least 2 metres of separation. If the social distancing becomes an issue, then we will have no option but to leave that site. The same rules will apply to site visits to discuss quotations with clients. However, assuming, that these rules can be adhered to, then we should be fine to continue to provide site visits as we always have.
Once again, we thank all of our clients, both present and future, for their patience and understanding at this very challenging time. Please help to support the country and STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS and SAVE LIVES. We’re all in this together.
Huge thanks to you all for your support over the years. Let’s hope we can continue to get through this and back to normal as soon as possible.
Warmest regards,
Stephen, Adam and Michelle.
