Biomass – Powering our nation!
At Swift we aim to recycle the by-products of our work. As an Environment Agency registered Lower Tier Waste Carrier/Dealer (registration number CBDL32738), we responsibly remove all waste from your site. For maximum efficiency, we process cut timber and branches on site, producing woodchip: an environmentally-friendly fuel source, which is easily transported off site. The woodchip is stockpiled at our own facility, before being collected by a biomass supplier who in turn distributes this fuel source to power stations throughout the UK.

Larger timber that cannot be processed on site can still be removed and recycled. We are fully equipped to extract timber of all sizes from any location. Once stockpiled at our facility, it can be chipped by a dedicated contractor and fed into the biomass supply chain, to help power your home!
